The ’linear wood’ series explores and highlights the properties of the material. A strong but ultra-thin structure is craft-fully covered with a thin layer of veneer: showing organic curves, seamless surfaces and continues wood grain. The monument stand transforms a technology product in a domestic sculpture complementing past and future. The stands shape does not only draw similarities to a museum art pedestal but also pays heritage to the evolution of the television by making reference to the side contours of an old CRT TV. - once assembled creating a contrast with the old and the new.
Together with Dutch metal casting company Gemcast, Christian developed a lamp called “Moonlight”. A hollow aluminum torus hides a light bulb and reflects light outwards though its polished interior. The reflective shine creates a mystique light effect - focussing on the mood the light gives and not seeing where the light actually comes from.

The ‘Luce’ collection is a flat-pack transparent side-table range that celebrates and highlights the way it’s constructed and it’s materiality through translucent connections. The construction consists out of three vacuum formed sheets that seamlessly connect within each other.
The formation of Japanese label KENZO is build upon a mix of cultures. Paperculture is a series of paper masks, reflection the brand heritage and identity of Kenzo. The cheap printed paper shapes represent a strong cultural image. The masks are intended to serve as a cut-out magazine advertisement campaign.
